Director of Finance (Repost) (FISCAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR I)

The Director of Finance leads fiscal and accounting operations for the Maryland Department of Labor's Division of Occupational and Professional Licensing. This Grade 19 position, based in Baltimore, oversees budgeting, auditing, procurement, and fiscal management for 25 regulatory programs while supervising finance staff and providing guidance to the Commissioner's Office.

Key qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 1 year of direct supervisory experience managing a government or organizational program
• 1 year of experience developing, implementing, and evaluating policies, plans, and programs including accounting, budgeting, and auditing
• Experience preparing and overseeing budgets
• Experience directing and coordinating fiscal activities
• Experience reviewing and responding to audit requests
