Director Of FinanceUnder the direction of the Chief Financial Officer, the Director of Finance supports the oversight of all financial activities of the organization and leads the day-to-day financial management functions. The Director of Finance ensures operational excellence across budgeting, financial reporting, financial analysis, internal controls, and compliance; providing strategic financial insight to support organizational goals.Essential Responsibilities:Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements prepared by the Finance team, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and complianceLead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes in collaboration with the CFO and senior leadershipDeliver actionable financial analysis and strategic insights and recommendations to the CFO and executive leadershipDevelop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial and operational performanceEnsure effective internal controls, risk management practices, and regulatory compliance frameworks are in placeOversee cash flow, liquidity, and capital allocation strategiesPartner cross-functionally with service lines and operational leaders to support business initiatives, financial discipline, and cost optimizationEnsure compliance with all leases, mortgages, contracts and other agreements requirements and covenantsAssist CFO in financial components of contract negotiations and vendor agreements, optimizing cost structures and mitigating financial riskProvide leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to the Finance team without direct involvement in routine transactional workAct as primary liaison with auditors and external advisors, overseeing audit readiness and execution, compliance with all tax filing and cost reporting requirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance Accounting, or related field (MBA or CPA required)12–15+ years of progressive finance experience, including leadership rolesStrong knowledge of financial reporting, forecasting, and analysisExperience overseeing accounting functions through direct reportsHealthcare finance experience and knowledge of patient revenue cycles preferredAdvanced proficiency in financial modeling and financial systemsExcellent analytical, communication, and presentation skillsDemonstrated ability to operate at both strategic and oversight levelsKey Competencies:Strategic thinking and business acumenAbility to delegate effectively while maintaining strong financial oversightStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsExecutive presence and ability to influence senior stakeholdersHigh integrity and professional ethicsThis role emphasizes strategic leadership and financial oversight rather than day-to-day accounting execution.
