Job Title

Director of Financial, Planning and Analysis – PTx Trimble (Joint Venture of AGCO and Trimble)

Responsibilities

Provide leadership and direction to the FP&A team, drive the development of complex financial models, and synthesize data into actionable insights that inform company‑wide decision‑making.

• Take the leadership role in building a team from a group of high performers that are currently individual contributors.
• Elevate the FP&A function to be a true business partner to division leaders, including the General Manager, VP Finance and Business Operations, VP Product Development, VP Engineering, VP Global Sales, Director of HR, VP of Strategic Marketing, and VP Autonomy.
• Provide business insights and analytics for critical decision support and lead the long‑range, annual budget and quarterly forecast process.
• Develop and maintain business performance dashboards and reporting as well as departmental budgets that forecast and measure key cost centers such as travel, marcom, NRE, outside consulting, etc.
• Serve as the key liaison with PTx Trimble accounting and AGCO FP&A functions.

Experience and Qualifications

• Minimum 5‑7 years’ experience in a similar role (preferably in a larger technology‑related business).
• Strong understanding of GAAP, including accounting for subscription services, professional services engagements, hardware and software.
• Proven business modeling and forecasting skills, including modeling of project‑based revenues, recurring subscriptions, and carve‑out impacts.
• Advanced to expert proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, look‑ups, and the ability to quickly derive accurate inferences from large data sets).
• Advanced to expert proficiency in G‑Suite office tools, specifically Google Sheets, and experience creating polished presentations in Google Slides.
• Ability to interrogate, analyze, consolidate, and automate the reporting of information from enterprise reporting systems, including data remediation and creation of dashboards.
