This individual will ensure the integrity of financial reporting, oversee audits, manage retirement and benefits administration, and serve as a strategic financial partner to executive leadership.Key Responsibilities:Oversee the setup, management, and ongoing operations of the finance departmentEnsure accuracy and integrity of all accounting and financial recordsReview processes and procedures for efficiency, effectiveness, and GAAP compliancePrepare monthly and quarterly financial statementsMaintain fixed asset records and oversee property tax return preparationReview and approve employee expense reportsCoordinate year-end close and support third-party tax preparers with required reporting documentationAdminister 401(k) and profit-sharing plans, including payroll deferrals, loans, distributions, and participant requestsReview and approve employee benefits billings and coordinate annual benefits administration activitiesHandle COBRA and employee continuation benefit processesFacilitate and oversee annual financial statement auditsServe as backup support for executive financial leadershipSupport HR-related operational and administrative responsibilities as neededQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or related fieldCPA designation strongly preferred10+ years of accounting, tax, financial audit, or finance leadership experienceExperience overseeing HR-related financial and administrative responsibilitiesStrong understanding of GAAP and financial compliance practicesProficiency with QuickBooksExcellent communication skills with the ability to explain financial information to non-financial stakeholdersAbility to manage changing priorities and last-minute requests in a fast-paced environmentIf you're interested in learning more about this opportunity or would like to discuss your qualifications, please apply now.Feel free to share this opportunity with anyone in your network who might be a good fit!
