This is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact while advancing your career in a supportive, community-focused organization.What You'll Do:As our Director of Finance, you'll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and transparency, while serving as a liaison between the various clinical and non-clinical departments as well as our Board. This is a growth opportunity where you will learn about NHSC's critical role in the community, help develop sustainable operational practices, and contribute to the organization's success. Your responsibilities will include:Ensure accuracy and compliance in financial statementsWork with the leadership team to develop, monitor, and enhance proformasMaintain and organize financial recordsProvide critical input to clinical and non-clinical leaders to enhance operationsRecommend cost-saving and revenue-enhancing strategiesCollaborate with special projects and initiativesWhat We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required)Ability to develop "out of the box" solutions to challengesMinimum 5 years of accounting experience; nonprofit experience is a plusProficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Experience with accounting systemsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesExcellent communication skills—both written and verbalWhy NHSC?At NHSC, we're more than just a workplace—we're a community.
