Director of Facilities and EVS

Location: Danville, PA (Relocation Assistance is available)

Salary: 75-90K based on depth of experience

Metz Environmental Services is actively seeking a Director of Facilities and EVS with a strong background in a Healthcare environment, particularly CCRC. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience overseeing environmental services and plant operations within a Continuing Care Retirement Community. Additionally, the candidate should have working knowledge of life safety regulations for both CMS and the Department of Health and experience reporting to multiple Client Partners simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the facility operates in a proper and safe manner, maintaining overall appearance, sanitation, and cleanliness to meet client, patient, resident, and guest expectations.
• Lead and manage the EVS organization, providing supervision, mentorship, and development to hourly team members.
• Oversee facility and EVS maintenance procedures to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Manage budget and purchasing for EVS operations.
• Report to multiple Client Partners and provide performance data and updates.

Qualifications

• 3‑5 years of EVS management experience.
• Strong knowledge of facility and EVS maintenance procedures.

• Strong computer and administrative skills.
• Experience in employee management, accounting, and HR functions.
• Experience managing a budget and purchasing.
• Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field is desired.
• Mechanically inclined with a solid understanding of EVS industry terminology.
