We are looking for a Director of Engineering with 6+ years of experience to join as the technical backbone of our team. You are a full-stack builder with AI/ML experience who has been through the 0-to-1 journey at an early-stage startup or for a meaningful product at a larger company. You'll own the product end-to-end - from our conversational AI agent and voice interview flows to the web app that makes preserving family memories feel effortless. This is a true founding opportunity with significant equity upside and a clear path to engineering leadership as the company scales.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in full-stack engineering
• Experience with agentic workflows
• Built products 0 to 1, ideally at an early-stage startup
• Shipped a consumer-facing AI product to real users
• Hands‑on building with AI/ML, LLMs, RAG, and agentic workflows
• Expertise with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS
• Voice or conversational AI experience
• Fluent in English for business communication including with non-technical colleagues
• Product‑minded with deep understanding of user experience and emotional product quality
