Description

Leading engineering for Spark Membership — a martial-arts and fitness school management SaaS. Took ownership of a distributed team of 15+ engineers across four geographies (Pakistan, India, Prague, US) and a complex mixed-stack estate: legacy VB.NET WebForms and a modern C# .NET 10 API over a shared 21.8 TB Azure SQL Hyperscale database. First priority: establish a trustworthy, evidence-first picture of the estate before being primed by inherited assumptions.

Stood up a Platform Engineering team (cloud/Azure, shared DB, CI/CD, observability, reliability/SRE) from the existing team — first concrete step of the engineering org-refactoring

Published a CI/CD and branching standard (main/develop + episodic envs, GitHub Environments, prod approval gate, Terraform-forward) as the model all vendor SOWs must conform to

Mapped and renegotiated vendor relationships — $740k+ in TechHolding SOWs assessed against bus-factor concentration risk across 30 repos
