Dizario Search is actively seeking a Director of Engineering & Maintenance for our client, an industry leading industrial manufacturer, located in Cleveland, Ohio. In this position, you will oversee all engineering & maintenance operations for the entire site, which include: capital project budgeting, preventative & predictive maintenance scheduling, continuing education, and new product & process launches.
Responsibilities:
- Develop maintenance training programs for both hourly and salaried staff.
- Work with the engineering management team to establish KPI's for the team.
- Manages plant Capital Expenditure budget and oversees project management activities for both engineering & maintenance.
- Maintain CMMS for maintenance personnel and ensure proper training for new team members.
- Implement RCA to eliminate failures and downtime.
- Utilize Lean manufacturing practices to streamline business practices and effectiveness.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- 10 (+) years of engineering and or, maintenance management experience, specifically in an industrial manufacturing setting.
- Previous automotive or automotive component manufacturing experience is required.
- Experience in heavily automated and robotics focused facilities.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering is required.
