Director of Distribution

Overview

The Distribution Director will manage and lead a single operation facility and align the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities

• Managing a large distribution facility all things logistics, supply chain, customer experience, budget, forecasting; including delivery on business demands and staffing
• Solution mindset implementing best practices to meet and exceed fulfillment demands
• People oriented to guide, mentor, manage and engagement of metrics – implementing best practices
• Identifying new solutions to improve overall operations
• Serve as a leader to represent the single site and promote service, delivery, quality management, productivity while remaining safe by ensuring safety measures are followed
• Ability to manage multiple projects and business demands
• Additional duties as requested by management

Qualifications

• Strong business acumen
• Excel master; including Distribution software and management systems; inventory and warehouse
• Planning and implementing plans and goals to meet budget/forecasting attainment
• 10+ years of direct experience – large sized distribution centers, required
• Lean Six Sigma, preferred
• Bachelor’s Degree, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent work experience, required
