Director of Disability Management

Empowering a team and shaping success, the full-time Director of Disability Management will lead disability and absence management programs across multiple claim teams, ensuring exceptional service and strong client relationships while working remotely. Key responsibilities Facilitates the implementation and continuous improvement of disability and absence management programs Represents the claim operation to national clients and ensures compliance with corporate guidelines and laws Manages and develops qualified individuals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the teams Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience required Minimum of eight years of progressive experience in managing integrated disability and absence management programs Leadership experience in a disability/absence insurance carrier or third-party administrator claim operation Expertise in disability/absence best practice benchmarking and metrics HR or Disability certifications preferred, with a focus on continuing education requirements
