Leading the enterprise Data Engineering organization, the full-time remote Director of Data Engineering will manage the design, development, and modernization of data platforms, while establishing engineering standards and mentoring high-performing teams. Key responsibilities Build and mentor a high-performing Data Engineering team while establishing engineering standards and practices Serve as the technical leader for the Databricks platform, defining best practices and driving adoption of new capabilities Modernize legacy data platforms by migrating ETL workloads to cloud-native architectures and optimizing data pipelines Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred 10+ years of enterprise Data Engineering experience, with 5+ years in leadership roles within large enterprises Expert-level experience with the Databricks Lakehouse Platform and strong knowledge of Apache Spark, Delta Lake, and SQL Proven experience in modernizing enterprise data platforms and implementing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices Strong understanding of Medallion Architecture and modern enterprise data architectures
