Director of Data Center OperationsReporting to: CIO Direct reports: 3 Data Center Managers (Kentucky, Georgia and North Carolina) Classification: ExemptJOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/Responsibilities Oversee the Data Center Operations at our 3 data centers in the southeast. This position will require travel to each of the data centers, so the ideal candidate should be ready and willing to travel to these 3 locations. The Director of Data Center Operations will be responsible for the performance across the 3 Data Centers and build/maintain a world class team of Managers, Engineers, Technicians and Maintenance personnel.

The Director of Data Center Operations will interface with key IT executives to Align Data Center strategy to realize synergies across Data Centers.

This Director will be responsible for maintaining client SLA and SLA compliance reporting and integration with Account Management Team. Additionally, will manage/maintain all Client Hosted and assets within every phase of the asset disposition. Keep Data Centers compliant with Corporate initiatives, priorities and product developments.

Understand and have strong knowledge of all mission critical systems that keep data center operating at the highest level. Participate in the design and development of new expansions or retrofits within the Data Centers to establish specifications and critical details for the Facilities and Construction team to proper budget, resource management and establish critical workflow for projects needed within Data Centers.Experience & Competencies10+ years of IT Data Center Director/Management experienceExperience overseeing multiple data centers, including the IT technology within these data centers, and IT personnelExperience optimizing IT data center personnel in small marketsStrong experience meeting data center SLAs with uptime expectations for clientsStrong understanding of servers, networking and cloud computing technologyBachelor's Degree or Master's Degree is preferred, but not requiredSupervisory Responsibility Direct Management of the 3 Data Center Managers, and indirect management of the Engineers, Technicians and Maintenance personnel. Travel Frequent travel to the 3 data centers.
