Director of Cost Controls

Leading project controls for multiple large-scale projects, the full-time Director of Cost Controls will manage schedules, budgets, and risks while collaborating with teams to develop cost estimates and mentor staff in a remote role with some travel required. Key responsibilities Oversee project controls to ensure effective management of project schedules, budgets, and risks Collaborate with project teams to develop accurate cost estimates and monitor financial performance Identify risks and create mitigation strategies to ensure project success and client satisfaction Required qualifications Minimum of 10+ years of experience in cost management within the construction industry Proficiency with estimating software such as Cost-X or On-Screen Takeoff Professional certifications in project management or cost management (e.g., AACE, RICS) preferred Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Deep understanding of construction techniques, market pricing, and procurement processes
