The Health Institute is building one of the most trusted functional health companies in the nation, and we’re looking for a Director of Content to help turn our brand vision into high-impact content and storytelling that educates, inspires, and changes lives.
In this leadership role, you’ll oversee day-to-day content execution, orchestrate high-level projects, and keep multi-channel initiatives moving from strategy through execution. You’ll lead a talented cross-functional team, manage vendors and contractors, and create the systems and processes needed to scale our content operation.
You’ll work closely with the VP of Content and leadership team to grow organic reach, strengthen SEO performance, analyze content KPIs, and use data-driven insights to continuously improve our strategy. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end content operations, timelines, resources, and cross-functional workflows
- Partner with the VP of Content to scale organic content and increase reach by 50% within 12 months
- Lead and develop a small but growing team while managing vendors and contractors
- Direct multi-platform content strategy and execution while maintaining a consistent brand voice
- Track and analyze content KPIs and translate performance data into actionable recommendations
- Identify opportunities to improve content quality, efficiency, engagement, SEO, and overall brand growth
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of progressive marketing and content management experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Proven experience managing, coaching, and developing creative teams
- Strong understanding of the full marketing lifecycle and core marketing channels
- Deep knowledge of SEO and organic growth strategies
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn performance data into strategic action
- Experience evaluating and managing written, visual, audio, and video content
- Must reside in the Middle Tennessee area and be able to commute to our Franklin office at least 2 days per week
