Director of Construction

• Works in collaboration with the Vice Presidents, IS Delivery to implement strategic goals.
• Reports directly to the Senior Vice President, IS Delivery Region.
• Enforces consistent company policies and procedures across all field operations.
• Collaborates with executive leadership to align field operations with strategic vision.
• Provides expertise to project teams in planning and resource allocation.
• Champions a culture of safety, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
• Monitors safety performance metrics and leads initiatives to achieve zero-incident goals.
• Reviews field operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and to client specifications.
• Drives operational efficiency by implementing standardized processes and optimizing workflows.
• Ensures seamless coordination between project managers and field teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related area.
• Minimum 15 years' experience in managing large, complex commercial construction projects, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
• Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills including negotiation and conflict resolution.
• Strong mentoring, coaching experience to a team with diverse levels of expertise.
• Superior management skills; ability to influence and engage direct and indirect reports and peers.
• Self-reliant, good problem-solver, results oriented.
• Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
