AutonomyWorks is a dynamic for-profit social enterprise whose mission is to change the way the world views people with autism. Our teams support clients around the world through data management, quality assurance, and business process outsourcing. We have developed proprietary methods and tools that enable our Associates, all of whom are adults with autism, to deliver with exceptional quality, accuracy, and productivity.
The Opportunity
AutonomyWorks is seeking an exceptional Director of Client Delivery to lead a team of talented adults with autism in producing high-quality work for our clients. This is a hands‑on leadership role for someone who enjoys being close to the work, leading people, solving problems, and taking ownership for results.
The Director will have end‑to‑end responsibility for a delivery pod of approximately 15–20 Associates supporting 3–5 clients. They will own the success of the pod, from developing Associates and managing production to ensuring quality and building strong, trusted client relationships.
This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both people and our business. The Director will help Associates develop their skills and succeed at work while ensuring our clients receive exceptional service. They will strengthen relationships with clients, identify opportunities to expand our partnerships, and continuously improve how the pod operates.
The Director will work closely with a peer Director of Client Delivery and shared resources to ensure consistency across pods while advancing AutonomyWorks’ mission to change the way the world views people with autism.

- Establish clear expectations and hold Associates accountable for following defined processes, systems, schedules, and quality standards consistently.

- Address attendance, behavior, or performance concerns promptly and consistently, partnering with HR when appropriate.
Ensure High-Quality Client Delivery
- Own the day‑to‑day production and delivery of all client work assigned to the pod, ensuring commitments are completed accurately, on time, and according to established requirements.
- Manage workflow, priorities, Associate assignments, and capacity to ensure production runs efficiently and deadlines are met.
- Develop a deep understanding of the pod’s client work and processes to train Associates, troubleshoot issues, and make effective production decisions.
- Monitor quality and productivity, identify gaps or risks, and take corrective action when performance or delivery falls short.
Strengthen Client Trust and Relationships

- Lead internal client Account Teams and regular client meetings, ensuring strong communication, clear ownership of action items, and alignment between client needs and delivery.
- Build trust through consistent delivery, proactive communication, responsiveness, and effective resolution of issues.
- Look for opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand the work AutonomyWorks performs by identifying additional needs, challenges, or processes we may be able to support.

- Establish and maintain effective processes and operating routines that support consistent, efficient delivery across the pod.
- Partner with Client Success to onboard new work, translating client requirements into clear, executable production processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve how work is organized, managed, and executed, and lead the implementation of those improvements.
- Ensure processes are clearly documented, consistently followed, and updated as business or client needs change.
- Work closely with the other Director of Client Delivery to operate as one leadership team, maintaining consistent processes, systems, and expectations across pods.
- Share resources, solve cross‑team challenges, and provide leadership coverage for the other pod when needed.
- Ensure shared Production Operations resources effectively support the needs of both pods and, as assigned, provide direct leadership to this function.
- Contribute to broader organizational priorities by owning quarterly Rocks, participating in Traction, and leading initiatives that improve how our teams operate.
