Leading reinsurance strategy and administration, the full-time remote Director of Ceded Reinsurance will structure and place reinsurance for various programs while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure operational efficiency and compliance. Key responsibilities Develop and standardize treaty wording for all programs, addressing key terms such as security and dispute resolution Structure and place reinsurance, including various types of coverage, to maintain net retention within appetite Oversee cession operations, ensuring accurate data production, financial reconciliation, and compliance with treaty requirements Required qualifications 10+ years of experience in P&C reinsurance, including treaty structuring and placement Direct experience in drafting and negotiating treaty wordings Working knowledge of statutory reinsurance accounting and risk-transfer testing Experience in administering cessions and managing recoverables Prior experience at a fronting carrier or similar organization is preferred
