A leading Healthcare facility in Mayfield, KY is seeking a senior-level Director of Case Management to lead its case management function. In this key leadership role, you will oversee and direct the hospital's case management department, ensuring effective coordination of patient care, utilization management, discharge planning, and operational excellence. This position requires a combination of strong clinical expertise as a Registered Nurse and demonstrated experience managing case management operations within a healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily case management operations, driving clinical care coordination, utilization review, and discharge planning.
• Develop and implement departmental goals, policies, and clinical standards aligned with organizational requirements.
• Direct and evaluate departmental processes—including patient care delivery, service levels, and complaint management—to achieve quality control standards.
• Direct staffing activities, including hiring, orientation, evaluations, ongoing training, and professional development.
• Prepare, monitor, and evaluate departmental budgets to ensure compliance with allocated funding, and coordinate internal and external audits.
• Foster a supportive environment for staff growth while integrating evidence-based practices into clinical protocols and workflows.

Requirements

Must-Haves

• Active license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Direct Case Management experience within a healthcare environment.
• Accredited Case Manager (ACMA) Certification required (or must be obtained within 2 years of hire).

Preferred

• Prior leadership/management experience within a Case Management department.
