Director of Buildings & Grounds

Madelia Public Schools is seeking a full-time, 12-month Director of Buildings and Grounds to oversee the maintenance, operations, and safety of all district facilities and grounds. This leadership position is responsible for supervising custodial and maintenance staff, managing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating building systems, and ensuring safe, clean, and efficient learning environments for students and staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with experience in facilities maintenance, building systems, and staff supervision. A Minnesota 1st Class C Boiler License (or the ability to obtain one within a reasonable timeframe) is required.

Salary: $65,000–$75,000, depending on qualifications and experience.
