Director of Baccalaureate RecruitmentUnity Environmental University seeks a dynamic, outcomes-driven Director of Baccalaureate Recruitment to lead enrollment growth across Unity's expanding portfolio of baccalaureate programs. This strategic role drives revenue through both direct-to-student recruitment and innovative B2B partnerships, while ensuring every prospective student experiences Unity's mission-driven approach from first contact through enrollment. As a key member of our Baccalaureate Sustainable Education Business Unit (SEBU), you'll develop data-informed recruitment strategies aligned with our multi-start academic calendar, build employer partnerships and articulation agreements, and lead a team of baccalaureate recruiters in delivering exceptional prospect experiences.Salary range: $60,000 - $80,000Day to day responsibilities:Strategic Planning & Execution Design and execute comprehensive annual and term-based recruitment strategies with specific enrollment goals by program, market segment, and start dateDefine priority audience segments and collaborate with marketing teams to align value propositions with our sustainability missionOptimize recruitment funnels using ROI data and conversion analytics to maximize enrollment outcomesPartnership Development Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic employer partnerships that generate qualified leads and cohort opportunitiesDevelop and maintain articulation agreements with feeder institutions in collaboration with the Academic, Student Success, Marketing, and Organization Effectiveness teamsSet partnership targets, track ROI, and ensure mutual value creation for all stakeholdersOperations & Student Experience Serve as primary liaison between baccalaureate SEBU and Education Enterprise units (Marketing, Financial Aid, Student Success) to ensure seamless processesOversee efficient credit transfer and pre-evaluation processes to accelerate time-to-offerAlign all recruitment activities with Unity's multiple starts annual calendar and maintain the accuracy of pre-enrollment materialsLead Management & Technology Own end-to-end recruitment lifecycle management in Salesforce Education Cloud, including lead-source taxonomy and attribution modelingBuild comprehensive dashboards, forecast to goals, and deliver weekly progress reporting with actionable insightsMaintain data hygiene standards and ensure compliance with consent and privacy regulationsMeet or exceed SLA response targets for all prospect communications with greater than 90% adherenceTeam Leadership & Development Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of baccalaureate recruitersProvide team with program briefs, talk tracks, and ongoing training to improve conversion ratesFoster a collaborative culture that embodies Unity's service orientation and environmental missionOutreach & Events Lead high-impact recruitment events and omnichannel outreach campaignsActivate alumni networks and student ambassadors for referral programsLead external communications and media for the Baccalaureate SEBUAppear on camera and engage across social media with confidence, working closely with Marketing to plan content and adhere to brand and compliance guidelines.Collaborate with academic leadership to showcase applied learning and career outcomes.QualificationsDo you have the skills?Bachelor's degree.3+ years of progressive experience in recruitment and/or sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.Proficiency with Salesforce and/or working CRM knowledge and analytics.Leadership and supervisory experience.Exceptional relationship-building, presentation, and negotiation skills; ability to influence across academic and administrative units.Excellent initiative and organizational skills with ability to work both autonomously and in a team.Great time management skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills.Ability and willingness to work with students from diverse political/socioeconomic backgrounds and a wide range of physical and academic abilities.Good skills in word processing, spreadsheets and computerized database systems.Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the University.Ability to function effectively within a matrix organizational structure, maintaining open lines of communication while being discreet, courteous and well poised.Valid Maine Driver's License with a good driving record.Ability to travel regularly and work evenings/weekends as needed.Preferred:Master's degree.Proven ability to design and execute data-driven recruitment plans across multiple program portfolios and start dates.Salesforce user with end-to-end lead-lifecycle management experience in an analogous B2B/B2C settingDemonstrated success engaging adult learners (place-bound, working professionals) in online baccalaureate programs.Demonstrated success creating and closing B2B employer partnerships and developing articulation agreements with colleges/universities.Experience in sustainability, environmental sciences, or mission-aligned sectors; familiarity with outcomes-focused, online baccalaureate education.Knowledge of state authorization considerations and best practices in baccalaureate enrollmentLocation: Pineland Farms, New Gloucester, Maine Just a half hour from Portland, Unity Environmental University Headquarters, Unity Environmental University Distance Education, Unity @ Pineland, and Sustainable Ventures are based at the Pineland Farms campus. The facilities are within easy access to one of the fastest-growing cities for startups in the country.Work Schedule: Work hours are specific to the requirements of this position and can include days, evenings, weekends. Working extended hours may be required as needed and Unity Environmental University employees must be flexible and cooperative in fulfilling their responsibilities while meeting the institution's needs.Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, it is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand or walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
