FPFS Director Of AssessmentDepartment: Fuller School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy Hours: 40 Hours Per Week FT/PT/Temp: Full-Time Exempt Status: Exempt Reports To: FPFS Executive Director Work Location: Pasadena, CABrief Description:The Director of Assessment for Fuller Psychological and Family Services (FPFS) is a full-time administrative position in the Fuller School of Psychology & Marriage and Therapy (SoPMFT). He/she is responsible for hiring and supervising the licensed clinical psychologists who provide supervision to assessment clerks and interns and for overseeing the recruitment and training of assessment clerks and interns. The FPFS Director of Assessment is responsible for ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and ethical requirements governing the training of assessment clerks and interns in the clinic.In addition, the Director of Assessment is responsible for developing and managing relationships with organizations that provide assessment referrals to FPFS, overseeing the assignment of assessment referrals to supervisors and clerks/interns, and for helping develop and manage the operating budget for the assessment program.The Director of Assessment will report to the FPFS Executive Director and work closely with the FPFS Director of Training.Essential Functions:Recruit, hire, train, and supervise the licensed psychologists providing supervision to the assessment clerks and internsWorking with the supervisors, oversee the recruitment, selection, training, supervision, and evaluation of clinical psychology assessment clerks/internsEnsure compliance with all state, federal, and professional laws and ethics relevant to the provision of psychological assessment servicesIdentify new sources of psychological testing and assessment opportunities (internal and external to Fuller)Manage important community relationships with key referral sources and with local graduate school programs from which FPFS recruits assessment cliniciansWork with the FPFS executive director to develop assessment pricing, promotion, delivery, and service plans, and to develop and implement the annual budgetKnowledge and Skills Required:Currently licensed in California as a Clinical PsychologistKnowledge of various types of assessment servicesStrong interest in training, developing, and preparing students for clinical workExperience in management and supervision in a clinical contextKnowledge of California laws, requirements, and ethics surrounding the provision of clinical training and psychological testingAbility to work effectively in teams and across departmentsExcellent oral and written communication skillsAdditional Remarks:This position is subject to a background check.Must be willing to abide by Fuller Community StandardsApply to this position via the Work at Fuller website.
