Director of Accounting Advisory

Leading a team of Division Managers and overseeing client operations, the full-time remote Director of Accounting Advisory will be responsible for coaching managers, ensuring performance accountability, and driving proactive advisory services while managing aggregate performance metrics across divisions. Key responsibilities Directly manage Division Managers and the Project Team, focusing on coaching and development Own aggregate performance metrics, including revenue per FTE and utilization, while ensuring client commitments are met Drive AI adoption and fluency within the team, leading training and overseeing the implementation of AI tools in client accounting work Required qualifications 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a leadership role within public accounting or client-service firms Proven track record managing a production team of 10+ accounting professionals Experience in performance management, including setting and enforcing KPIs Background in capacity planning and workload balancing across teams Strong client leadership experience, ideally with startup or high-growth clients
