For 60 years Riverview Community Action Corporation (RCAC) has sponsored a multi-faceted senior center and community outreach programs to meet the needs of older residents of the Oakmont and Verona twin boroughs and neighboring communities. RCAC is a private, non-profit organization committed to advancing age-friendly policies/practices and multi-generational engagement.
RCAC is seeking a full-time Director . This position is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and directing the overall operation of RCAC in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations, standards and guidelines.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with board of directors to develop/implement strategic plan and diversified business model;
- Implement and enforce policies as established by the board of directors;
- Provide direction/supervision for overall day-to-day operation of RCAC;
- Provide recommendations to the board to innovate older adult programming in line with PA Department of Aging and Allegheny County Area Agency on Aging;
- Supervise all paid staff members and volunteers of RCAC;
- Partner with board as key driver of fund-raising activities and resource development.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in gerontology, human/social services, health services, wellness/lifestyle engagement, or related area.

- Administration, finance and budget preparation
- Program development and implementation
- Supervision and development of staff and volunteers
- Experience with fundraising, grant-writing, etc.
- Experience with community engagement
- Proactive communications and marketing
