The Director of Nursing Services at Kaleida Health is responsible for providing leadership and direction to the hospital's nursing operations. This role is ideal for experienced nursing leaders who are passionate about improving patient care and staff retention.

What You’ll Do
- Provide leadership, direction, support, and assistance to the hospital's nursing operations.
- Accountable for day-to-day nursing operations including nursing strategy and quality measures.
- Develop and implement site-specific patient-focused management programs.
- Establish nursing practice guidelines and nursing quality indicators.
- Create innovative financial plans and evidence-based practices.
- Develop nurse managers through coaching, mentoring, and evaluation.
- Drive programs and initiatives to improve nurse and staff retention.
- Oversee the integration of the care delivery system to meet patient care needs.
Requirements
Education
- Current NYS Registration as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or related field required.
- Master’s degree in Nursing/Healthcare or Business Administration or a related field required.
Experience
- Five (5) years of experience in patient care delivery.
- Five (5) years of progressive management experience in health care, including budget/financial systems and quality improvement.
Licenses & Certifications
- Current NYS Registration as a Registered Professional Nurse required.
