The Director of Nursing Surgical Services is responsible for the overall management and leadership of the surgical services department. This includes overseeing the nursing staff, ensuring patient safety and quality of care, and developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a Master's degree in Nursing Administration or a related field. They will also have at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in a surgical services department.

Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing Surgical Services include:

• Overseeing the nursing staff in the surgical services department
• Ensuring patient safety and quality of care
• Developing and implementing departmental policies and procedures
• Managing the department's budget
• Recruiting and retaining qualified nursing staff
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of the surgical services department

To be successful in this role, the Director of Nursing Surgical Services must be a strong leader, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively under pressure.
