Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior leadership and key business partners to streamline data operations and align marketing efficiency goals with overall business strategy.
- Provide leadership and operational support to the global presentation production teams, North America marketing partners, and direct reports.
- Manage and optimize cross-functional teams, foster creativity, and drive innovative marketing operation strategies to elevate efficiency across the NA marketing department.
- Lead strategic collaboration with marketing, data, and technology to streamline and ensure data integrity, improve automation processes, and elevate data operations.
- Measure impact and provide regular executive level reporting on projects.
- Initiate and define annual roadmaps and oversee participation in special projects related to data operations and marketing efficiency.
- Collaborate with technology to optimize marketing tools and platforms.
- Stay apprised of industry trends and emerging technologies to implement innovative marketing solutions; evaluate new and existing technology to increase and improve user experience.
- Oversee internal communications and training strategies to enhance employee engagement with new and existing marketing processes.
- Articulate the future state of how the marketing team can function, including best practices of how to work (operations), how to best take advantage of technology capabilities (platform and data), and how marketing capabilities evolve in‑line with marketing strategy.
- Enhance platforms to support efficient and scalable processes for reporting and analytics, data automation, and marketing operations.
- Operate with an ownership mindset, proactively identify problems, and engage the right people to understand and creatively solve them.
- Foster a collaborative, forward‑thinking, and results‑driven culture within the marketing department and beyond.
- Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular evaluations, and provide professional development opportunities.
- Attend relevant industry conferences, corporate sessions, internal meetings and 1:1s.
- Extensive MS PowerPoint, Excel, and content management system (Seismic) work related to data operations and marketing collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing, Finance, or related field; or equivalent work experience
- 7 - 10 years of relevant experience in finance (Asset management experience preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Knowledge of content management tools (Vermillion, Seismic, Accent, etc) preferred
- Excellent strategic and analytical skills to review processes, solve complex problems and identify improved methods for efficiency
- Proven experience as a senior marketing leader, preferably in a managerial role with people leadership experience
- Visa Sponsorship: Applicants must have a valid work authorization that does not now, or in the future, require visa sponsorship for employment in the United States
