The Role:
We are seeking an experienced Investment Director to play a leading role in the origination, evaluation, execution, and management of digital infrastructure investments across North America.
Based in New York, the successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and delivering high-quality investment opportunities across sectors including data centres, telecommunications, on-site generation and other digital connectivity assets.
This is a senior position requiring strong transaction execution capabilities, commercial judgement, and a well-established network within the digital infrastructure ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Deal origination
- Play a crucial role in sourcing and originating deals. Leverage networks and industry knowledge to identify and secure high-potential investment Opportunities with a specific focus on digital infrastructure assets.
Negotiation
- Lead negotiations with target companies, working to secure favorable terms for the firm. This includes managing complex negotiations involving multiple stakeholders.
- Provide strategic oversight for portfolio companies, helping to drive value creation and ensuring that each investment aligns with the firm’s overall strategy.
Team Management
- Guiding and supporting fellow team members- analysts, associates, senior associates and the VPs, - ensuring that all members are working effectively towards the firm’s objectives.
Experience:
- The role requires significant experience in deal execution and client management, strategic thinking, and leadership abilities.
- A strong track record of originating and executing digital infrastructure transactions is required.
- Must have worked at an Infrastructure funds business or private equity firm
