Director, Nephrology – Staten Island University Hospital – Northwell Health

Northwell Health’s Division of Nephrology is seeking a physician leader to serve as the Director for the Division of Nephrology at Staten Island University Hospital. The role will work with departmental and organizational leadership to facilitate operational and strategic planning that promotes continuous improvement within our clinical and educational enterprises.

Responsibilities

• Lead administrative functions of the Nephrology program.
• Coordinate strategic planning and operational improvements across clinical and educational activities.
• Collaborate with the Department of Medicine and health system leadership.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight to the Nephrology faculty and staff.

Qualifications

• Clinical experience in nephrology with evidence of academic and teaching activity.
• Proven leadership experience in a physician‑led medical department.
• Commitment to scholarly activity and continuous improvement initiatives.

Compensation

Full‑time clinical base compensation ranges from $125,000 to $750,000, contingent upon specialty, experience, academic accomplishments, patient experience, productivity, and quality of care.
