Director, Nephrology

Northwell Health is seeking a physician leader to serve as the Director for the Division of Nephrology at Staten Island University Hospital. This role involves working with departmental and organizational leadership to facilitate operations and strategic planning, promoting continuous improvement within clinical and educational enterprises. The ideal candidate will possess clinical, teaching, scholarship, and leadership experience to guide the Nephrology program at this 714-bed tertiary teaching hospital.

• Staten Island University Hospital is a 714-bed tertiary teaching hospital spanning two campuses.
• The North campus houses Staten Island's most modern emergency department, a state-of-the-art education center, and a medical arts pavilion.
• The South campus boasts its own emergency department and offers specialty programs, including geriatric psychiatry, behavioral health, and substance abuse services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Director for the Division of Nephrology at Staten Island University Hospital.
• Work with departmental and organizational leadership to facilitate operations and strategic planning.
• Promote continuous improvement within clinical and educational enterprises.

Compensation

• Full-time clinical base compensation at Northwell Health ranges from $125K to $750K, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, level of experience, quality of care, academic accomplishments, patient experience and productivity.
