Job Description

Ethicon, a member of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies is currently seeking a Director, MedTech Supply Chain Digital Excellence to join our team. We are seeking an experienced Director of Digital Excellence to support the MedTech Supply Chain Digital Strategy & Innovation organization and lead our Operational Excellence and Strategic Insights practice. This role will collaborate closely with business units, technology, and data science to develop and deploy operational frameworks that enable effective portfolio governance, streamline ways of working, and nurture strong digital acumen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and partner with MedTech Supply Chain Digital Council to identify critical opportunities and govern digital portfolio across the ecosystem
  • Act as our internal Customer Success leader to collaborate with key partners, collect intake needs, and triage through governance process for delivery
  • Drive effective ways of working with cross-functional teams across E2E delivery process
  • Ensure accurate and consistent execution of operational processes - financial management, resource strategy, license management, value realization, and vendor relations
  • Lead and support cross-functional MedTech Supply Chain digital acumen program
  • Establish and nurture digital service catalog
  • Develop business cases to align leadership support and secure funding approvals
  • Develop dynamic framework to report on key success metrics across our operational portfolio through dashboards and scorecards
  • Define and monitor key performance indicators and success metrics to measure digital product performance and value realization across areas such as cost savings, inventory reduction, revenue growth, and operational efficiency
  • Analyze and benchmark emerging trends and innovations that can be used for supply chain digital transformation
  • Establish end-to-end digital analytics platform to monitor and track product performance
  • Continuously assess and evaluate the digital solutions within the portfolio to ensure long term sustainability and adapt to evolving business needs
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory requirements related to supply chain digital assets
  • Foster a culture of agility, innovation, and continuous improvement within our digital teams

Education

Minimum Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Engineering, Experience Design or related field preferred. Advanced degree preferred.

Required

  • Minimum ten (10) years of relevant work experience
  • Experience is required including relevant background in digital strategy, business operations, and supply chain
  • Prior experience and knowledge of supply chain processes, technologies, and various digital strategies
  • Proven experience leading digital product development across an enterprise organization
  • Strong experience developing strategies for both custom digital applications and SaaS platforms
  • Strong experience engaging with customers to gain insights and gather requirements for product strategies
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and verbal to drive collaboration across partner groups
  • Experience managing budgets, developing business cases, and conducting financial business planning
  • Proficiency with various common business tools within the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Proactive, organized, and passionate teammate. Experience developing strong talent within teams

Preferred

  • Familiarity with current innovative supply chain technologies such as AI, ML, IoT, Control Tower, APIs, Conversational AI, Data Analytics, and intelligent automation
  • Familiarity with digital analytics platforms such as Google Analytics
  • Prior experience in a leadership role managing high performing teams
  • Experience in medical technology industry
  • Lean, six‑sigma, or process excellence methodology

  • May require up to 10% domestic and/or international travel to other sites and locations

Pay

Anticipated base pay range: $164,000.00 - $282,900.00.

Benefits

Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits: Vacation – 120 hours per calendar year; Sick time – 40 hours per calendar year (48 hours for Colorado, 56 hours for Washington); Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays – 13 days per calendar year; Work, Personal and Family Time – up to 40 hours per calendar year; Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child; Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member, 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year; Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52‑week rolling period; Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year; Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year.
