Director, Market Access Operations

Position Summary

Director of Market Access Operations responsible for leading and overseeing market access operational components across Access Strategy, Payer Engagement, Corporate Accounts, Trade & Distribution, Field Reimbursement, and Patient Support for all brands. Project manage strategic initiatives, including upcoming product launches, and coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Commercial Operations/Analytics, Training, Finance, and Human Resources.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, manage, prioritize, and own market access strategic/operational initiatives; support KPI development and track progress.
• Anticipate evolving operational and analytical needs; partner with Commercial Analytics on analyses, decision support, reporting, and dashboards.
• Lead market access training in partnership with OcularTx.
• Lead complex projects (systems integration, CRM initiatives, launch readiness) on-time and on-budget.
• Lead vendor oversight and management, including RFP processes and accountability to deliverables.
• Manage Market Access cost centers with Finance on budgeting and tracking.
• Develop executive presentations for Board and Executive Leadership Team.
• Lead internal governance and ways of working; design and drive agendas for weekly leadership meetings and launch planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field.
• 10+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech; 6+ years in management/leadership.
• Strong project management experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills; thrive cross-functionally.
• Proven ability to develop board/C-suite presentations.
• Track record delivering business value; manage priorities and deadlines in fast-paced environment.
• Professional demeanor; self-starter.
• Requires 25% national travel (some overnight/weekend commitments).
