The Labor & Delivery Director is responsible for the leadership, successful operations, and quality of the service at the facility and facilitates the integration and teamwork of all for optimal care of patients. Works in conjunction with the facility administrative staff and clinical staff to ensure the highest level of care for patients, and ensures that all services provided meet all regulatory requirements and guidelines. Works with physicians to adopt and incorporate quality initiatives, understand economic considerations, and increase physician/hospital alignment. This position is responsible for development of strategic and tactical plans to maximize the effectiveness of Labor and Delivery services at the facility including budget planning and budget management (capital and operational).
Qualifications
- Do you have a current BLS Certificate?
- Do you have a current ACLS Certificate?
- Do you have a current NRP Certificate?
- Do you have management experience in an acute care hospital?
