Job Summary
As the Director of Laboratory Services for St. John's Regional Medical Center and St. John's Hospital Camarillo, you will direct the 24‑hour operations of the clinical laboratories to meet organizational needs and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements. You will plan, organize, and implement strategies to enhance laboratory operations, ensuring high quality, efficient, and cost‑effective service. You will also oversee laboratory specimen collection, processing, on‑site, point‑of‑care, and send‑out testing services. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hospital administrative and clinical leaders to plan and implement policies, procedures, programs, and initiatives supporting the mission and growth of the hospitals.
- Provide visible, engaging leadership to department personnel, achieving operational and technical objectives including workflow design, service quality, financial performance, regulatory compliance, personnel management, patient satisfaction, and employee engagement.

Job Requirements
Required Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in biological or chemical sciences, as defined by CLIA.
- Minimum of three combined years of leadership experience as a supervisor, manager, or director at a moderate or high‑complexity laboratory.
Required Licensure
- Current license as a Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) in the State of California.

Pay Range
$63.10 – $93.87 per hour
