Remote (Chicago-based) | Private Equity-Backed Growth Platform
Are you the kind of operator who thrives in fast-moving environments where execution matters, ambiguity is welcomed, and your work directly shapes growth?
A rapidly expanding, private equity-backed services platform is seeking a Director of Integrations to lead post-acquisition integration efforts across a growing portfolio. This is a high-visibility leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys turning deal strategy into operational reality — partnering with executive leadership to drive alignment, scalability, and measurable value creation.
This role sits at the intersection of M&A, operations, technology and transformation. You’ll work hands-on with newly acquired businesses to standardize processes, strengthen systems, and accelerate performance — all while helping build a repeatable integration playbook that fuels continued growth.
If you’re energized by change, enjoy solving complex operational challenges, and want a front-row seat to a high-growth acquisition strategy, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
What You’ll Do
- Lead post-merger integration initiatives from planning through execution
- Translate acquisition strategy into actionable operational roadmaps
- Partner cross-functionally with finance, operations, IT, and commercial teams
- Drive process standardization and system alignment across acquired businesses
- Build and monitor integration KPIs, dashboards, and performance milestones
- Support executive reporting and integration communications
- Identify synergy opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Act as a trusted connector between corporate leadership and field operators
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in integration, operations, consulting, or corporate development
- Hands‑on exposure to M&A environments and change execution
- Comfort working with multi‑site service businesses and founder‑led teams
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Ability to balance strategy with hands‑on execution
- Excellent communication and cross‑functional leadership skills
- Highly organized self‑starter who thrives in fast‑paced growth settings
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
- Direct exposure to acquisition strategy and value creation
- High ownership with visible executive partnership
- Opportunity to build scalable integration infrastructure
- Work across diverse operating environments
- Remote flexibility with Chicago leadership footprint
- Strong runway for professional growth within a PE ecosystem
If you enjoy building, improving, and integrating organizations — and want your work to directly influence growth outcomes — we’d love to talk.
