Job Description:
- Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed Integration & Automation Engineering team
- Own Oura’s Business Technology Services (BTS) and core integration platform
- Own Workato as a delivery surface for enterprise integrations and automations
- Define and run the operating model for integrations and automation across IT
- Establish and embed reliability practices for mission‑critical integration services
- Partner with Security, Data, and Finance to ensure integrations are auditable and well‑governed
- Stay close to the AI Productivity team’s work on agents and MCP‑based integration patterns
- Act as a visible technical leader and communicator for integration and automation across Oura
Requirements:
- 12+ years building and operating integration platforms, iPaaS, or API services in modern SaaS environments
- 5+ years managing engineers (including senior/staff‑level ICs) and technical program leaders
- 3+ years developing digital AI products and AI‑augmented integrations
- Deep technical experience with modern integration patterns (event‑driven, REST/GraphQL, webhooks)
- Proven track record operating engineering platform teams
- Experience working in or around SOX‑relevant systems and ITGC controls
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineers across multiple time zones
- Genuine curiosity and practical experience with AI‑augmented workflows
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
