Job Summary

GoTo Foods is looking to hire a Director to lead its Integrated Operations function and drive multiple initiatives while leading cross‑functional integration and support for our portfolio of brands. This role serves as the critical link between data, strategy, and execution—ensuring leadership has clear, actionable insights and that initiatives are prioritized, measured, and delivered with discipline.

The Director will lead the development of executive‑level reporting, analysis, and performance frameworks that provide visibility into operational health, franchisee performance, and initiative impact. This role translates complex data into clear narratives that inform decision‑making at the executive level while enabling consistent execution across the organization. The Business Performance team sits within the larger Strategic Operations function and requires an individual who is a “Jack of All Trades,” and is comfortable taking on ambiguity and distilling it into structured approaches and frameworks. The ideal candidate will be a demonstrated strategic thinker who can manage and grow our Integrated Operations function. This individual must have excellent communication and stakeholder management skillsets, experience in leading multiple cross‑functional initiatives, and a willingness to take on and seek out additional responsibilities.

Essential Functions

  • Business Performance Leadership & Executive Insights: Lead the development of executive‑level reporting and analysis across Strategic Operations initiatives. Synthesize data from multiple sources (operations, finance, technology, franchisee performance) into clear, actionable business insights. Provide ongoing analysis of key business drivers (sales, labor, throughput, operational execution, system adoption) to inform leadership decisions.
  • Strategic Support to Executive Leadership: Create, structure, and oversee key initiatives to ensure application of Strategic Operations team’s approach and rigor. Support enterprise initiatives and special projects aligned with growth and operational priorities. Partner with SVP and executive leadership to define priorities, resource allocation, and execution approach.
  • Executive Presentation & Storytelling: Own creation of high‑impact executive presentations (ELT decks, Board materials, brand performance reviews, franchisee conference content). Translate complex datasets into simple, compelling narratives focused on outcomes and actions. Establish a consistent “performance storytelling” framework (what happened, why it happened, what actions are required). Partner with senior leaders to shape messaging and recommendations tied to business priorities.
  • Data Analysis & Decision Support: Support leadership with data‑driven recommendations for prioritization, resource allocation, and initiative design. Partner with Business Performance, Finance, and Technology teams to ensure data accuracy, alignment, and integrity. Enable faster decision‑making by providing clear, timely, and relevant insights.
  • Strategy Execution & Integration: Translate strategic priorities into measurable execution plans with defined success metrics. Ensure all initiatives are aligned to clear performance outcomes and business value. Integrate execution efforts across Operations, Technology, Training, and Brand teams. Establish governance to ensure initiatives are tracked, measured, and delivering expected impact.
