The Head of PMO is a newly critical role responsible for building and running the PMO function across GSD's full delivery portfolio. This is a full-scope mandate: the role owns both program and delivery governance for BAIS and BAIC customer engagements (proof-of-value sprints, agentcamps, and the incubation-to-graduation lifecycle), and organization-wide PMO operations: resource planning, budget and forecast management, partner program governance, and executive reporting. The successful candidate will bring structure and rigor to a fast-scaling, forward-deployed delivery model without slowing it down, and will be a trusted operating partner to the SVP and the broader GSD leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Governance
- Establish and run a governance cadence across BAIS and BAIC delivery engagements, including PoV Sprint qualification, Bootcamp execution, and Incubation Program graduation criteria.
- Build and maintain milestone, RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, decisions), and dependency tracking across a global, multi-region portfolio of customer engagements.
- Partner with Delivery and other leaders to standardize delivery methodology, templates, and playbooks aligned to forward-deployed engineering best practices.
- Drive escalation management and executive-level status reporting for at-risk engagements, ensuring timely visibility and remediation.
- Own resource planning, allocation, and utilization tracking across the ~300-person organization spanning NA, EU/UK, and APAC.
- Partner with regional delivery leaders and Finance to forecast demand, staffing needs, and budget/cost variance across the portfolio.
- Manage capacity planning tied to pipeline and bookings, in close coordination with Sales and Customer Success.
Partner (GSI/BPO) Program Governance
- Stand up and run governance for strategic delivery partners, including engagement performance tracking, cost and margin variance, and joint delivery scorecards.
- Support partner onboarding, enablement, and quarterly business review (QBR) cadence in partnership with GSD leadership.
Reporting, Frameworks & Executive Communication
- Own reporting templates and cadence for the SVP and broader executive stakeholders.
- Build and maintain the GSD PMO toolkit, dashboards, KPIs, and status reporting for executive and board-level visibility.
- Partner with RevOps to align delivery metrics with pipeline, revenue, and margin targets.
Process & Tooling
- Define and continuously improve PMO governance standards, templates, and playbooks across BAIC/FDE delivery.
- Lead change management for new delivery methodology and tooling rollouts.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in program/project management, including 5+ years leading a PMO function within enterprise software, SaaS, AI/ML, or professional services organizations.
- Proven experience running PMO for a large (200+ person), multi-region delivery or professional services organization.
- Familiarity with forward-deployed engineering, embedded customer delivery, or field engineering models (e.g., Palantir FDE, Databricks Field Engineering) strongly preferred.
- Experience with GSI/BPO partner program governance and joint delivery models.
- Strong grounding in program/portfolio management frameworks (PMP, PgMP, or equivalent); familiarity with V2MOM or comparable goal-setting frameworks is a plus.
- Strong financial acumen budgeting, forecasting, utilization, and margin management.
- Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience presenting to C-level and board audiences.
- Experience with PPM/PSA tooling (e.g. Salesforce, Rocketlane, DevRev, Jira/Confluence, Monday.com).
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or other advanced degree a plus.
