Global Fintech Firm Seeks a Director Fraud Analytics, Risk & Strategy (Auto Finance/Lending)
- Reporting to the CFO
- Oversee & Support Fraud Detection, Data Optimization, and Risk for Auto Loans
- Evaluate Emerging Third-Party Identity Intelligence
- Ensure the Underwriting Process Blocks Synthetic Identities, Straw Buyers, Income Misrepresentation, and Application Fraud before Loans are Funded
- Design, Implement & Optimize Automated Fraud Decisioning Rules, Risk Cutoffs within the auto loan underwriting platform
- Establish KPIs for underwriting fraud capture rates, auto-approval rates, manual review queues, and false-positive friction
- Oversee all Third Party Data Providers
- Perform deep-dive quantitative analysis using SQL, Python, and AI tools on application data, credit bureau attributes, etc
- Work Closely with Data Science and Engineering to build, test, and deploy machine learning fraud models and custom risk scores
- Present monthly fraud trend reports, vendor performance metrics & underwriting loss forecasts to executive leadership and credit risk committees
Qualifications:
- 8-12 Years of Experience in Auto Fraud Analytics, Underwriting Risk Strategy, Quantitative Risk Management within Consumer Lending, Auto Finance, Fintech, or Digital Banking
- Experience Managing Third Party Fraud Platforms and Vendors
- Advanced SQL, Python & AI Tools
- Advanced Experience in Modeling, Quantitative & Risk Analysis
- Deep Expertise with Auto-Origination Systems (LOS) & Strong Understanding of Auto Lending Risk Factors
Base Salary 275k-325k + Strong Bonus & RSU's. Excellent Benefits & Full Comprehensive Package. Role Can be Fully Remote with Some Limited Travel to NYC & Boston Office. Tremendous Opportunity for Growth at this Global Fintech Firm.
