Location: Open to remote or hybrid - San Diego, CA, 92127
Pay range: $210,000 – $240,000 annually + stock options and bonus
Shifts: Business Office Hours
Duration: Contract to hire
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION YOU WILL NEED
- 10+ years of finance experience with at least 5 in FP&A within biotech or pharma
- Experience with Clinical Trials/Clinical Stage Companies required
- Proven ability with forecasting clinical-stage R&D programs, including CRO and clinical trial accruals
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel, ERP, and planning systems like NetSuite or Adaptive
- Knowledge of US GAAP and experience preparing financials for leadership and Boards
- Preferred: MBA, CPA, CFA; oncology or early-phase clinical development background
MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
- Lead corporate planning, forecasting, and long-term financial strategies
- Manage clinical trial financial models and vendor contract evaluations
- Partner with leadership on budgets, cash flow, and strategic financial decisions xhqgsiq
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and investors
- Support strategic projects including financings, acquisitions, and licensing
