The Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at Northwell Health's Staten Island University Hospital is seeking an experienced Full-time Intensivist to join our team as the Cardiothoracic ICU (CTICU) Director.
The ideal candidate must be fellowship trained, and Board Certified in Critical Care or Thoracic Surgery with at least 3-5 years of experience in post-operative cardiac care. Primary board certifications can include Internal Medicine, Anesthesia, Emergency Medicine, or General Surgery. The ideal candidate should also carry exceptional inter-personal skills with a goal of sharing a vision of unparalleled delivery of care through teamwork, collaboration, innovation, and persistence for excellence.
Northwell Health offers a competitive salary and benefits package. In addition, an academic appointment with The Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell is commensurate with credentials and experience. Physicians will be employed as members of Northwell Physician Partners, the fifth largest medical group in the country.
