Director Corporate Development

Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturer in the energy space, is looking for Director of Corporate Development. This individual will work with the CEO and CFO on acquisitions from initial call to close to integrations. Responsibilities include:

• Build and maintain a prioritized pipeline of targets aligned with the Company's strategy, and screen opportunities quickly and decisively.
• Lead valuation, financial modeling, and deal structuring in partnership with the CFO.
• Coordinate due diligence across finance, legal, operations, HR, and IT, and manage outside advisors.
• Build relationships with private equity firms, investment bankers, and industry contacts to maintain a current read on deal flow, valuations, and consolidation activity.
• Partner with the CFO and Finance team on budgeting, forecasting, and long range planning.
• Lead post close integration planning so acquired teams, customers, and systems transition smoothly into the Company.
• Act as a go to resource for the CFO and CEO on high priority, time sensitive initiatives across the business.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree; MBA or CFA preferred
• Investment banking experience
• 5+ years experience
• Direct experience sourcing, evaluating, and closing acquisitions.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, budgeting, and forecasting skills.
