Director, Continuous Improvement

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration required. Master's degree preferred.

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Production, Quality, Engineering, Project / Program Management, NPI.
• Prior management or lead experiences is preferred.

Knowledge:

• Lean and Six Sigma.
• Knowledge of the group, its management system, processes and organizations.
• Knowledge of manufacturing / industrial engineering best practices, processes and operations.
• Knowledge of change management in complex organizations.
• Knowledge of basics in terms of techno-economic management and performance management.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in the use of common software packages including MS Office suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint.
• Proficiency in other tools for managing projects, analyzing capabilities and capacities, SPCs, continuous flow, etc.

Other Skills:

• Lean Black Belt Certifications is preferred.
• Ability to lead and manage projects up to larger scales and complexity.
• Ability to manage cross functionally with direct and indirect influence.
• Capacity to operate in a multi-disciplinary, diverse and international environment.
• Long term vision and capacity to promote breakthrough actions.
• Capacity to understand business issues.
• Capacity to understand leverages of performance improvement.
• Capacity to do benchmarking.
• Practical experiences of SAFRAN tools and methods including Lean Sigma.
• Being familiar with the organization practices of a progress plan.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work directly with senior leaders.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Advanced program management skills including the ability to adapt to a changing environment and manage a wide variety of projects on time and within budget.
• Able to manage, motivate and influence teams with and without a direct line of authority.
• Receptive of feedback and quick to apply changes.

Senior-level position within field.

Working Conditions:

1. Fluent communication in English language required.
2. Employment Status will be full-time.
3. Travel may be required to other locations within the division.
4. Regular office environment with regular interactions with people on the production floor.
