This individual will serve as a strategic legal partner supporting Commercial, Medical Affairs, and Market Access functions while advising on a broad range of healthcare regulatory, promotional, and commercialization matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on federal and state healthcare laws and regulations, including matters related to product promotion, compliance, privacy, and patient engagement.
- Counsel business stakeholders on interactions with healthcare professionals, payers, patients, and patient advocacy organizations.
- Provide legal guidance on advertising, marketing initiatives, social media, digital engagement, and scientific exchange activities.
- Support speaker programs, field-based initiatives, patient support activities, and other commercialization efforts.
- Provide legal support for market access, payer engagement, pricing, reimbursement, and patient support initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
- 10 years of legal experience, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related life sciences companies.
- Strong knowledge of the U.S. healthcare, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical regulatory environment.
- Experience supporting promotional review committees.
- Experience operating in a highly regulated commercial healthcare environment preferred.
