What this job involves
- Identify, source, and structure quality supply of corporate finance, debt and equity transaction deals, as well as land deals such as sales, joint developments, and auctions in the Bangalore market.
- Prepare marketing materials such as presentations and proposals with the help of the team.
- Develop and execute parallel business development strategies for the responsible geography.
- Demonstrate strong business development activities through networking, industry seminars, and other sources.
- Leverage existing and new relationships with developers, landowners and corporates, focusing on the sourcing and origination of deals.
- Be responsible for meeting and/or exceeding individual targets.
Key qualifications
- MBA Finance, CA or CFA with 12–17 years of experience in Real Estate Investment Banking and transaction services.
- Capital‑raising (debt/equity) background desired.
- Strong number crunching and analytical skills with proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
- Team player with ability to manage teams.
- Excellent organization skills; ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
- Assess client requirements, initiate and maintain client interactions, provide inputs on pricing, and participate in proposal discussions.
- Manage the entire deal process including requirements gathering, structuring, aligning expectations, and closing.
- Prepare information memorandums, financial analysis, market intelligence, and liaise with solicitors, legal consultants and government bodies.
- Ensure optimum client service delivery and engagement through calls, meetings, site visits, presentations, follow‑up, and accurate & timely submission of company proposals.
- Self‑starter, confident, collaborative, and capable of multitasking within a team environment.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Prior experience in capital markets transactions with comprehensive understanding of real estate transaction practices and relevant legal jurisdictions.
