Job Overview

As a Business Development Director, the dynamic individual will develop and mine an active pipeline of location‑based digital marketing opportunities. The role focuses on growing a new‑business client base across enterprise‑level clients in Germany, with a strong emphasis on enterprise lead generation and portfolio expansion at DAC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive an outbound‑heavy acquisition strategy to generate qualified meetings with CMOs, CEOs, and marketing leads.
  • Build targeted prospect lists in Apollo, execute structured multi‑step outreach sequences in Lemlist, and track pipeline progression in HubSpot.
  • Develop high‑quality outbound sequences that communicate DAC’s value clearly.
  • Lead the complete sales cycle—from first interaction to signed agreement.
  • Collaborate with Account Directors, Paid Media, SEO, and Strategy teams to define scope and build detailed proposals.
  • Maintain an accurate and up‑to‑date pipeline in HubSpot, including forecasting and reporting for leadership.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to refine outreach and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Represent DAC Group Germany at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
  • Share insights with leadership to influence positioning, messaging, and go‑to‑market refinement.
  • Identify opportunities for cross‑selling and upselling within early‑stage relationships.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of outbound playbooks, scripts, and campaigns.
  • Coach junior SDR team members when needed.

Preferred Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in business development or B2B sales, ideally in digital marketing.
  • Strong understanding of Local SEO, Paid Media, Content Marketing, Analytics, and AI‑driven solutions.
  • Proven success in outbound‑driven sales environments.
  • Hands‑on experience with Lemlist, Apollo, and HubSpot.
  • Strong relationship‑building, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to position complex digital marketing solutions in a simple, value‑oriented way.
  • Experience managing longer, consultative sales cycles.
  • Highly organized with strong CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy.
  • Ability to build, segment, and prioritize prospect lists efficiently.
  • Commercial mindset with a drive for measurable outcomes.
  • Fluent in English; German fluency preferred for DACH outreach.
  • Strong internal collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams.
  • Self‑driven, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‑paced agency environment.
