Job Summary

Directs effective operations for the Medical Surgery unit, with 24 hours responsibility forall clinical, human resources and business functions. Supports the leadership agenda for the nursing department of Shannon.

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent (Required)


• Completion of an accredited nursing program (Required)


• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (Preferred)

Experience

• Two years of experience in Long Term Care as a Supervisor (Preferred)

Certification / Licensure

• Registered Nurse (RN), with authorization to practice in the State of Texas (Required)


• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required). Must obtain within ninety (90) days of start date.
