Director - Behavioral Health, Payer Value Creation - Remote

For our client, we are seeking a Director - Behavioral Health, Payer Value Creation - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space.

This role will drive a payer-focused value creation agenda with a strong emphasis on behavioral health affordability and improved outcomes. You will lead a portfolio of initiatives that identify cost and performance opportunities, translate data into action, and build executive-ready business cases. The position requires close partnership across clinical, finance, analytics, and operations teams to move priorities from concept through implementation and validation.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $159,300 – $273,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Own the payer value creation and affordability agenda
• Identify and assess trends to improve outcomes and reduce costs
• Build and manage a portfolio of payer affordability initiatives
• Lead initiatives from identification through financial validation
• Develop business cases and executive recommendations using data
• Establish strong operating disciplines and governance
• Align stakeholders and resolve barriers in a complex environment

Qualifications

• 12+ years in healthcare, managed care, consulting, or related fields
• 10+ years leading complex, cross-functional initiatives
• Experience identifying and executing cost or performance improvements
• Cross-functional experience in clinical, finance, analytics, and operations
• Proven executive presence with strong communication skills
• Track record of moving projects from concept to implementation
