Director, AI Strategy & Transformation (New Brunswick, NJ)

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect with AI/data initiatives across sector and function teams to identify where the JJAIC and JJDMC can create enterprise value.
  • Collaborate with JJAIC/JJDMC Co-Chairs and senior leadership to define and prioritize strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate AI adoption and recommend enterprise investment, prioritization, and execution.
  • Facilitate workstream/sprint sessions; prioritize deliverables, develop strategic plans, and align initiative timelines.
  • Manage the workstream portfolio (launch/close sprints; support sprint leads).
  • Monitor industry trends and translate insights into strategies and operational improvements.
  • Advise JJAIC/JJDMC leadership and executives on enterprise AI priorities, opportunities, risks, and operating models.
  • Develop executive communications (business cases, narratives, decision frameworks).
  • Drive alignment across business, technology, data, legal, and governance stakeholders.
  • Create operational performance frameworks; assess performance, drive efficiency, and improvements.
  • Own quarterly governance processes for data quality index collection/calculation/reporting.
  • Track progress, manage risks/interdependencies, mitigate risks, and share performance updates.
  • Drive Council activities (prep, content, facilitation, follow-up) and support monthly/exec/board engagements.
  • Lead Steering Committee sessions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 10+ years in consulting, corporate strategy, enterprise transformation, Chief of Staff, or strategic planning (strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI and generative AI trends/opportunities.
  • Strong financial acumen; executive advisory and change-management experience.

On-site/hybrid

  • On-site minimum 3 days/week (up to 2 remote days).

Base Pay Range

$150,000–$258,750.
