Key qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, Education, Educational Leadership, Visual Impairment, or related field
- Five years of progressively responsible educational leadership experience
- Three years supervising professional staff
- Experience administering statewide educational programs and managing budgets and federal programs
- Experience working with students who are blind or visually impaired
- Demonstrated ability to lead statewide programs, develop strategic initiatives, and manage complex budgets
